Twice a week, children at SPK enjoy a discovery time with Ms. Sarah Elizabeth Craw. Discovery time is an important part of a young child’s development. During discovery time, children are given the opportunity to explore and learn about their environment in a hands-on way. This allows them to develop important skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity. It also helps them to build confidence in their own abilities and to become more independent learners. Additionally, discovery time allows children to make connections between what they are learning and their everyday experiences, making the learning more meaningful and relevant. Overall, through the combination of art and science, discovery time provides a valuable opportunity for children to learn and grow in a way that is tailored to their individual needs and interests.
